Paul Frank Accessories
It was out from a crappy vinyl that started the sensation of
Paul Frank’s industries.
Paul Frank was an art student and now a graphic and fashion
designer. His invented wallet brought him esteem and style,
as well as his contemporary clothing and accessory lines.
Where he is and his company now was out from the patches he
once sewed for sweaters, as an art class project during his
college years. Eagerness excited him to further make a wallet
by using only the spare vinyl left. He gave it to Ryan Heuser,
one of his music fans. Ryan was gratified with the gift and
got enthusiastic in other accessories, starting Paul to sew
another items like guitar straps and backpacks. So the Paul
Frank Company was developed, consisting of Paul Frank clothing,
Paul Frank accessories, and Paul Frank watches reeled into
one.
Paul Frank line’s famous character is the buoyant Julius
the monkey, designed as a significant element featured on
almost all of Paul’s designs. A list of Julius friends
has been featured in numerous movies most particularly in
the Austin Powers, third series. Some of the Paul Frank’s
characters that is used or patched to any of its accessories
include: Clancy the small giraffe, Cornelius the larger giraffe
and Clancy’s older brother; Vic the snail, Worry Bear,
Sheree L. Bandit the raccoon, Todd Spicoli the hamster, Ellie
the elephant, Bunny Girl who wears a bunny suit, Skurvy the
skull and bones, Mr. Owl the owl, Shaka Brah Yet the yeti,
Devil Julius who is Julius cousin, Marshmellows the hot cocoa
rapids riders, Missy and J the Siamese cats, Aurthur the Flamingo,
Hulius which is the Hawaiian version of Julius and Brace face
the dog with braces. These are the faces and characters that
Paul wants his customers to remember and to associate with
his brand label.
Paul Frank is not really a kid at heart, or engrossed with
colorful children’s toys, nor does he have fervor for
kids having to invent these funny and colorful characters
for his signature. Rather, he was inspired from the bright
color paintings of his former Sun View Elementary School,
where neon colors like gold yellow, rusty orange and light
blue are tinted. He also includes that industrial engineers
who design school, desks, chairs, office furniture, bicycles,
cars, blenders, and toasters from the 40’s
up to the 60’s pushed him to create such
lively characters. But in general, he admits that his love
for music resulted to this kind of style. He is a buff of
The Who, The Rolling Stones, and The Velvet Ground.
The birth of Paul Frank Industries was formed to stand by
the fondness for his products. In 1999, they collaborated
with The Aquabats. After that partnership, Paul Frank has
worked with other bands like Bad Religion, Alakline Trio,
Toll and some others for its licensing affiliations and co
- branding. The company also has had other attachments with
John Deere, Elvis Presley, Hello Kitty and Lego.
Paul’s far-fetched designs got him recognition and
hailed his signature as one of the most recognizable labels
in fashion industry. Paul’s creation of handbags, accessories,
and small leather goods are seen to be popular designs in
the market. Paul Frank belts are perfect for men and women
of all ages. His handbags are designed to give you style,
space and versatility. The making of Paul Frank totes will
also pump up your wardrobe, presenting convenience and trend.
Paul Frank Watches Industries, another accessory line sprouted
with the strong belief of his partner Ryan Heuser that the
line will be salable.
And so it happened. The wish of establishing a name in the
market was not only granted a portion; but rather, a whole
overwhelming respond was given. |
